PCSO's Charity Art Work .

Re: Worth Valley Contact Point, Haworth Village.

Worth Valley PCSO Helen Wynn-Evans has recently finished a piece of art work in aid of local charities. The Officer based at Haworth Police and Community Contact Point has spent her own time over the last few weeks painting the piece using acrylic paint, which went up for auction at The Black Bull Public House, Haworth, on the 13th August and sold for £30. The painting is of the cobles at Main Street, Haworth, a beat which the Officer patrols everyday as part of her Neighbourhood work.

Commenting on the piece, PCSO Wynn-Evans said, "This is the second charity fund raiser which I have contributed towards over the last few months. I take great pride in patrolling the Worth Valley area so when I saw that the paintings would be auctioned off in aid of local charities, I knew that I wanted to take part. Funds from the sale of the paintings are going towards The Haworth First Responders, Riding For The Disabled and the PDSA, all excellent local charities. The total amount raised for the charities overall was over £1600."
