Chris. McCarthy:

Chris has been an established artist for many years, having exhibited at the Brighter Homes Exhibition and the Manchester Gallery of Modern Art as far back as the late 1960's / early 1970's.

He has exhibited widely and enjoyed an amount of success in Europe and Australia.

Whilst teaching at Bradford College, he designed the arts courses for students with learning difficulties.

During an 11 year employment with Bradford Social Services, he designed and ran most of the art and craft courses offered to adults with long-term, or recently-acquired, physical disabilities. 

His booklet 'Towards Inclusion', written for Huddersfield University, is considered by many to be essential reading for those interested in teaching 'differently-abled' students.

He is a well established community-artist, having run major projects all over the North of England.
